May We Expect This of Your Child?
In his book Only Connect, Dr. Rudy Crew provides the following on page 75.
TEACHERS SHOULD HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS THAT THEIR STUDENTS WILL
- Give their best efforts.
- Complete their work.
- Pay attention.
- Ask good questions.
- Listen to feedback.
- Say when they don't understand something.
- Remain confident in the face of failure.
- Ultimately succeed.
For what it's worth, I agree. What are your thoughts?

Our children should always do their best in every thing they do, and sometimes the best is not on top. That is ok with me, if they are tring their best. If my child is not tring, then that goes back to standing in the way of learning. If my child does not understand something then he should speak up and be heard.
